Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a cutting machine capable of handling conveniently by forming a hole freely reciving water in the rotating direction of a rotary cutting tool at the top of a casing to thereby eliminate inconvenience of the conventional drain hole. CONSTITUTION:A cutting machine is reversely mounted at the lower side of a table 2 so that a casing 3 is mounted at a base 4 and rotary cutting tool 5 may rotate in the casing 3, and a hole 7 is obliquely formed to freely receive water in the rotating direction of the cutting tool 5. The hole 7 has draining action due to the head pressure of water retained in the casing 3. When the hole 7 is used as for holding the cutting tool, the hole 7 is disposed at the top so that water may freely enter into the hole by means of jet action with the result that the water is not ejected, but operates to adapt for the using state to be thus very convenient. Thus, it eliminates the labor to detach or attach a blind in the hole 7 and to construct it to be inexpensive.
