Abstract

PURPOSE: To control the pressure applied on the blocking member during encapsulation, by pressurizing the blocking member without disturbing the rotation of transparent insulating tube while enabling the regulation of said pressure.
CONSTITUTION: Light emitting tube supportor 8 driven by a motor 7 is provided in an enclosed container 1, while a blocking member 10 fixed with transparent insulating tube 9 and electrode is held in said supportor 8. A mechanism 11 for pressing the blocking member 10 against transparent insulating tube 9 is provided above the blocking member 10. The pressing mechanism 11 is comprised of a linear leading mechanism 12, a supportor 13, pressing tool 14, a spring 15, heat- resistant member 16, etc. The linear leading mechanism 12 is fixed on upper cover 4 and formed to convert the rotary motion into linear motion of rod 12a.
