Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the operation of an atomic absorption analyzer by installing a plurality of atomic units and switching them for use. CONSTITUTION:Light from a light source lamp 1 is incident through an atomic unit 2 (such as, for example, a graphite atomizer) into a spectroscope 3. Thus, the light can be measured at the atomic unit 2. When the lamp 4 is moved at its position, the light moves a mirror 6 into an optical path into the spectroscope 3 as the light passes through the atomic unit (such as, for example, a burner). Thus, the light can be measured by the atomic unit 5. It is noted that a mirror such as the mirror 6 may be inserted between the lamp 1 and the atomic unit 2 to thereby switch the optical path by the mirror.
