Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possibe to have hydraulic shovel rolled on steep surface in such a way that slope surface scraping bucket is rotatably mounted on operating arm by two pins which intersect almost perpendicularly to each other, and that the position of rolling face of the shope surface scraping bucket is made adjustable as required.
CONSTITUTION: Steep layout bucket 4 is mounted on operating arm 3 by pin 5 in a manner that bucket 4 is turned abut pin 5 when hydraulic cylinder 6 is operated so as to extend or retract its piston rod 9. Since bucket 4 is further mounted on the same arm 3 by pins 18 which are almost perpendicular to the pin 5 in such a manner that it is turned about pins 18 when another hydraulic cylinder 19 is operated, bucket 4 can be turned in any direction by any combined operation of both cylinders 6 and 19. Therefore, position of rolling face 4a of the steep layout bucket 4 can be changed as will for rolling any slant surface of steep concrete barrier and the like.
