Abstract

PURPOSE: To generate ID (identification) pulses of a sufficient peak value for the purpose of obtaining color signals having a normal phase at a reproducing time.
CONSTITUTION: The reference signal of phase ϕ1 and the burst signal of phase ϕ2 are applied to terminals 1 and 2 of killer detecror 10 respectively, and an instantaneous current is flowed as shown in arrow A or absorbed as shown in arrow B according to their phase difference. Meanwhile, color signals are inputted to terminal 7 of killer amplifier 11; and under the state as shwon in arrow A, high frequency components and low frequency components are flowed to capacitors C1 and C2 respectively, and a faint current is flowed to diode D1 to turn on transistor Q3, and color signals are outputted from terminal 8. Under the state as shown in arrow B, Q4 is turned on, and no output is issued from terminal 8. In ID pulse generation circuit 12, Q6 is saturated, and most of the instantaneous current of detector 10 is flowed to capacitor C2 by making capacitor C2 about ten times as large as capacitor C1; and therefore, under the state as shown in arrow B, Q6 is broken, and terminal 9 becomes a high level volrage instantanously, and sufficiently large ID pulses are generated.
