Abstract
PURPOSE: To meke it possible to manufacture a power failure reset system easily at low cost by finding the command block sequence number of a command tape interrupted by utilizing a numerical controller itself.
CONSTITUTION: In case that operation is interrupted due to a power failure, command tape 6 is rewound adequately and power failure reset switch 9 is operated to drive tape reader 5. As a result, collation part 11 collates a command block sequence number in process of execution at the time of the power failure stored in command block sequence number memory part 10 with a read command block sequence number on tape 6 and tape 6 stops where the both agree, so that tape 6 will be set again. Then, driving controlled machine 4 continues the operation by restarting the execution from the unexecuted part of an interrupted instruction since data when the power is cut off are all retained.
