Abstract
PURPOSE: To feed recording media, sheet by sheet, at fixed intervals by providing 1st and 2nd detectors to a conveyance path connected to a hopper, by stopping the feed-out of recording media from the hopper by the signal of the 1st detector and then by restarting it by that of the 2nd detector.
CONSTITUTION: The bottom flank of hopper 1 containing several stacked tags 3 is provided with clearance 2 where one tag 3 can pass and conveyance path 4 is arranged connecting it. To the open bottom surface of hopper 1, feed roller 8 of synthetic rubber of high frictional resistance turned by stepping motor 6 is provided and one tag sent out from clearance 2 intermittently is fed onto conveyance path 4. Then, conveyance roller 11 driven by alternating-current motor 10 is used to convey tag 3, but at this time, detectors 14 and 15 are provided on the upstream and downstream sides of conveyance path 4 and motor 6 is controlled by their outpus to keep an interval between tags 3 constant. In this constitution, severl read heads 13 arranged between rollers 11 make fixed reads.
