Abstract

PURPOSE: To decrease the curving of scanning lines and obtain the hologram disc of large scanning angles by arraying holograms on the disc and reducing the radial components of the interference fringes of converging waves and divergent waves from the center toward the outside.
CONSTITUTION: Holograms 3 thru 8 are arrayed on a disc 1 and a radiation beam is applied subsequently to the position shown by the dotted line 11. Since the space frequency components of the interference fringes in the disc diametral direction are higher than the center of the disc, the diffraction angle in the disc radiation direction is high, hence the arc scanning line may be corrected so as to approach to a linear scanning line, as a result of which the curving of the scanning line becomes small. Since the interference fringes are recorded by converging and divergent spherical waves, the scanning angle may be increased as well. The interference fringes record the spherical waves divergent from the point 13 and the spherical waves convergent to the point 12 to the photoreceptor on the disc 1. Thereby, the scanning angle may be increased and the curving of the scanning lines decreased.
