Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the DC constant voltage output with a simple circuit constitution, by the switching of the switching element connected between the base and ground of switching transistor.
CONSTITUTION: The voltage rectifying the AC power supply 1 is fed to the switching element 13 through the resistor 12. When the base voltage of the transistor 4 reaches the switching voltage, the switching element 13 is conductive to turn off the transistor 4. When the voltage rectifying the AC power supply 1 reaches less than the saturated voltage of the switching element, the switching element is turned off. Accordingly, the voltage fed to the lead 10 is depending on the switching voltage of the element 13. Thus, the constant voltage circuit can be constituted without using complicated units such as voltage amplifiers and control amlifiers.
