Abstract
PURPOSE:Filter medium which can easily remove dust deposited on the surface, and which is formed by sticking mesh on the surface of foamed polyurethane sheet. CONSTITUTION:Filter medium is formed by sticking mesh 2 on the surface of foamed polyurethane sheet 1 with an adhesive. The mesh 2 is woven, for example, from nylon filament. When the mesh 2 consists of, for example, 40 mesh, 400 denier fiber is used to make plain weave. When the mesh 2 consists of 80 mesh, 150 denier fiber is used to make plain weave. When this filter medium is used in a filtering apparatus, dust is deposited within the meshes in the form of bridge. Hence, the amount of dust which adheres directly to the surface of the sheet 1, is small and the dust and dirt can be removed rapidly by known methods.
