Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the measurement accuracy for the rough torque of the analog crystal watch by memorizing both the driving frequency and the correcting frequency of the step motor.
CONSTITUTION: The step motor incorporated into the crystal watch consists of stator 1, rotor 2 and coil 3, and receives supply of the reverse pulse with every second. The voltage applied across coil 3 flows the current of loop 9 at section (a) and is switched to loop 10 containing detection resistance 6b at section (b). And the voltage generated by the vibration of rotor 2 is obtained at terminal 8h. Then when the non-rotation is detected at section (b), the current is supplied to coil 3 through loop 9 to secure the correcting drive for the motor via the sufficiently long pulse. And both the driving frequency and the correcting frequency are memorized.
