Abstract
PURPOSE: To facilitate cutting work, reduce the thermal expansion coefficient of a synthetic resin and raise its thermal conductivity, by mixing the synthetic resin with a substance of good cutting property, injecting the resin in between the salient poles of a stator and machining the resin.
CONSTITUTION: Silicon steel sheets are laminates on one another so that a stator 6 having salient poles 9, 10 is manufactured. Windings 11, 12 are provided on the stator 6. Such stators 6a∼6d are inserted into an aluminium casing 1 so that the stators are located with an angular difference of 90° and spacers 5a∼5e are interposed between them. After an end bracket 16 is tightly fitted in the casing 1, a synthetic resin 15 mixed with such a substance of good cutting property as aluminum powder is filled in between the adjacent salient poles through a hole 2. A plurality of teeth are thereafter formed on the inside surfaces of the stators by broaching. Thus, the working of the teeth on the inside surfaces of the stators is facilitated, the thermal expansion coefficient of the resin 15 is reduced and its thermal conductivity is raised.
