Abstract
PURPOSE: To manufacture the title multi-layered tablet containing an anti-acid agent, etc. having antipyretic, analgesic and antiphlogistic activities, smoothly, in high efficiency and quality, by adding talc to the composition constituting each layer.
CONSTITUTION: A multi-layered tablet containing acetylsalicylic acid or its derivative as effective component, is prepared from a composition for the firstlayer composed of acetylsalicylic acid or its derivative and 5W30wt% of talc, and the other composition for the second layer composed of, e.g. an anti-acid agent or acetaminophen, etc. and 3W30wt% of talc. The addition of talc prevents the adhesion of the effective component to the rotary disc, etc., and smoothens the movement of the lower ram. It is also effective to improve the uniformity of the concentration of the effective component in the tablet, when the raw material is charged in the tabletting machine in the form of granule.
