Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent damage of an ozonizer due to formation of nitric acid in a transition time of operation by attaching a timer, to an operation controller, which starts operaion of an ozonizer cooling refrigerator after passage of a predetermined time after operating a feed air dryer for the ozonizer.
CONSTITUTION: According to an operation start signal, feed air dryer 6 is operated, and operation of refrigerator 17 is started with built-in timer 21 of operation controller 19 to start cooling of the indide of ozonizer 1 after passage of a predetermined time for well drying and dehumidifying air in ozonizer 1. After passage of a predetermined time for well cooling the inside of ozonizer 1 (grounded metal tubes) a voltage is applied to ozonizer 1 from high voltage power source unit 10 with other timer (not shown) to start ozonization. Operation of unit 10 may be started after confirming the cooling state of ozonizer 1 with a temp. detector. Thus, formation of nitric acid is prevented in a transition time at the time of starting operation of ozonizer 1.
