Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent damage on seals at the time of assembly by causing inner rings to abut against each other, providing an outer ring spacer between outer rings, and providing a seal at the end portion of the outer rings. CONSTITUTION:Double raceway inner rings 1 are provided with cylindrical portions 3 and small jaws 12 on the side of the smaller-diametered portions of inner raceway tracks 11. The end faces of the axially aligned inner rings 1 on the side of the small jaws 14 are so arranged as to abut against each other. Seal holding rings 9 and 10 are fitted in close contact with the outside end faces of the single raceway outer rings 2 and 5 positioned at the ends of the bearing, seal members 91 and 101 consisting primarily of an elastic body and reinforced with a metal ring are provided on the internal peripheral side of the rings 9 and 10, and the seal lips of the seal members 91 and 101 are in slidable contact with the cylindrical extended portions of the inner rings 1 to seal the gaps between the inner rings and the outer rings. An outer ring spacer 7 is provided between single raceway outer rings 3 and 4 to adjust the gap between the roller rows.
