Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent exposure accident of film by providing a film detecting member to the spool which winds the film so that the back cover of the camera is locked during photographing and the locking is released upon completion of film rewinding.
CONSTITUTION: When a patrone 5 is loaded to the camera and a film 21 is pulled out and is wound to a spool 20, a film detecting member 23 turns counterclockwise to pull a cord 31, causing a lock part 10 to advance to the position where it engages with the step part 8 of a rewinding shaft 1. Then, even if the rewinding shaft 1 is tried to be pulled up by holding a rewinding knob 2, the lock state is maintained and despite inadvertent pulling up of the rewinding knob 2, faulty opening of the back cover will not occur. When the film 21 is rewound after ending of photographing, the film 21 is wound in the patrone 5 and the film detecting member 23 turns clockwise, thereby releasing the lock part 10. This constitution enables film exposure accident to be prevented.
