Abstract

PURPOSE:One face of the hardboard having one liner and core adhered thereto and the other liner are hot pressed with a hot melt film being held therebetween, a cover sheet is adhered to the front surface by the hot press and thereby a wrinkle-less high quality hardboard liner may be provided non-expensively. CONSTITUTION:The hot press device 1 has a lower concave shaped fixed die 2 and a projected movable die 3 vertically moved away from and toward the fixed die 2. Under such condition as the movable die 3 is moved upwardly, all of one face hardboard 13 adhered with one liner and the core member, hot-melt film 14 and the leading end of the liner 15 are clamped at 27, set between the fixed die 2 and the movable die 3, hot-pressed to make a molding by a downward movement of the movable die 3, resulting in a completion of the forming of the hardboard. Then, the cover material 16 may be adhered to a surface of the hardboard formed by a similar means by a hot press.
