Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the insertion and connection of electrode board group, when performing inter-cell connection of electrode board group, by pressing the connector from the back and performing plastic deformation to be projected through a hole to the side of adjascent cell then performing the connection. CONSTITUTION:Electrode board 2 having upper and lower ears 1 is employed to laminate anode board 3, glass mat 4, separator 5 and cathod board 6 to form electrode board group, then said group are inserted into electric container 15 which is integrated through thermal fusion with lower and upper covers 19, 18 to form lead cell. The ear 1 of each electrode board 2 of said lead cell is connected with the ear 1 of other electrode board which adjoins the former through partition 16. The connection of said ear 1 is performed such that one connecting terminal 12 is pressed from the back and deformed plastically to be projected through a hole 17 in the partition 16 to the side of adjascent cell, then plasma welding is applied on said portion. Consequently the projection at the connecting terminal is eliminated thereby the insertion of electrode board group into electric container 15 and the inter-cell connection can be facilitated.
