Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable paper feeding certainly by providing with an auxiliary roller which is rotatably contiguous to a main roller and revolves reversely througha sliding mechanism which generates a slip when the load applied is larger than a fixed force.
CONSTITUTION: A sliding mechanism starts sliding movement and an auxiliary roller 13 follows in rolling contact with a main roller 12. In this state, when papers A more than one are fed between both rollers 12 and 13, and load applied to the sliding mechanism becomes lower than a sliding limit. Accordingly, the auxiliary roller 13 begins reverse revolution, and as the frictional force between the auxiliary roller 13 and the paper A overwhelms that between papers, the papers except the lowermost paper A1 are removed on a receiving stand B. As a result of this, only the lowermost A1 is nipped between both rollers 12 and 13, and then the auxiliary roller follows again in fixed direction, and paper feeding is performed one by one.
