Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the images of high density and high image quality free from fogs overall and partially by developing electrostatic latent images by superposing the alternating magnetic fields of weak magnetic flux density on the fixed magnetic field of strong magnetic flux density.
CONSTITUTION: In the developing region, the fixed magnetic field whose magnetic flux density is indicated by the straight line a is created by the first magnet device 5 and the alternating magnetic fields whose magnetic flux is indicated by the curve b by the second magnet device 8, respectively. These magnetic fields assume the form that the alternating magnetic fields are superposed on the fixed magnetic field as shown by the curve C because they simultaneously act in the developing region.
