Abstract

CONSTITUTION: When the no load saturation characteristics of an induction motor 5 is represented by a line A1, the voltage versus current characteristics of capacitors 6-1 to 6-3 connected in parallel with the motor 6 by a line B, the voltage versus current characteristics of reactors 11-1 to 11-3 similarly connected to the capacitors by a line C, and general characteristics including the elements by a line D, it can be seen that the lines A1 and D crosses at the point P0 to obtain a rated voltage V0 by suitably selecting the constants of the reactors and the capacitors. Accordingly, even if the motor 5 exhibits that the cross point P1 of the lines A1 and B shows the voltage V1 higher than the rated voltage V0, the motor 5 can produce the voltage V0 of the rated voltage to stably operate the motor by obtaining the general characteristics of the line D by the scalar difference between the delay phase currents of the reactors 11-1 to 11-3 and the lead phase currents of the capacitors 6-1 to 6-3.
