Abstract

PURPOSE: To reducd the wear of a resin-bonded diamond wheel without sacrificing its abraisiveness, by raising its hardness with the polimerization degree of phenol resin within a range of from 85W95%.
CONSTITUTION: Diamond powder with a wt% of 22W28% is mixed with a bonding material of 22W28% and formed. The bonding agent is preferably composed of phenol resin powder 68W72%, filler 26W30% and hardness 2W4%. The filler is composed of wood powder 39W49%, metallic powder 221W31% and non-metallic powder 25W35%. The mixture thus formed is hardened with polimerized phenol resin of 88W92%, preferably 85W95%, to get a wear-proof diamond wheel.
