Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove firmly attached material from the surface of a magnet, without damaging the surface, only by wiping with a paste containing an adhesive composed mainly of an organic high polymer, and bentonite, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The title agent is prepared by kneading a composition composed of (A) an adhesive composed mainly of an organic high polymer such as acrylonitrile- butadiene copolymer, (B) (e.g. 10wt% of) bentonite, (C) optionally e.g. 5wt% of a surface active agent such as a lauric acid salt (derivative), (D) optionally a proper amount of oil, (E) optionally silicone resin and its foaming agent, and (F) optionally a synthetic resin. The paste thus obtained is applied to the surface of a magnet, polished and wiped off.
