Abstract
PURPOSE: To realize continuous and repeated projection for a long period of time, by winding an endless film around two reels alternately in two plies.
CONSTITUTION: An endless film 1 wound around a reel 4 in two plies is taken up on a reel 2 in two plies by the action of an actuating arm 6 according to the rotation of the reel 2 in clockwise direction. When all the film on the reel 4 is taken up, the both reels stop temporarily, but due to the actuating arm 6 and slack of film, the reels start to rotate in the revese direction while the film passing through an aperture in a projector 12 keeps moving, so that the film is taken up on the reel 4. Since the film is endless and wound in two plies, the film feeding direction is unchanged. Thereafter, the reels take up the film alternately, and the film 1 moves in the same direction continuously, so that continuous projection may be realized.
