Abstract

PURPOSE: To accurately ignite evaporated kerosine by providing a leg projected at the winding end of an ignition nichrome wire to thereby maintaining interval between evaporating cotton and the nichrome wire.
CONSTITUTION: When electrodes 3, 4 are energized, ignition nichrome wire 12 generates heat between the electrodes 3 and 4. The predetermined interval between evaporating cotton 10 and the ignition nichrome wire 12 is maintained by the leg 13, and the contacting surface between the evaporating cotton 10 and the leg 13 is spaced by a separator 14. Accordingly, the wire 12 is not humidified by the kerosine of the cotton 10 but accurately heated to ignite evaporated kerosine.
