Abstract

PURPOSE: To effect the prevention of the crack from occuring at the connection of legs and a body of a bath and the elimination of the work for assembling the legs and the body by placing the molded legs made of thermo-plastic resin in the lower mold, setting molded materials for the body thereupon and then molding them with use of the upper and lower molds through compression.
CONSTITUTION: Each leg 1 molded in advance made of thermoplastic resin capable of absorbing the shock is placed within a lower mold for molding a bath. Then, after setting compression molded materials made of FRP for molding the bath body 2, the materials is molded through compression with use of the upper and lower molds. By so doing, a bottom base 8 of the body 2 is bonded to a top head 7 of the leg 1 integrally.
