Abstract

PURPOSE: To reproduce a desired one hologram out of multiple holograms which are densely recorded without causing degradation and crosstalk by using an aperture board which has the characteristics that the transmittance of light at its edge part gently changes so as to increase toward the center of its opening.
CONSTITUTION: This is the method of disposing an aperture board 10 having an aperture 9 of the size approximately equal to that of a desired hologram and having the characteristics that the transmittance of light at the edge part of this aperture gently changes so as to increase toward the center of the opening in proximate opposition to the desired hologram and obtaining the reproduced image by radiating a reproducing beam to the desired hologram through the aperture 9, wherein the skirt portions of the reproducing beam are cut by the aperture 9 and therefore the radiation of the reproducing beam to the adjoining holograms is obviated, hence the reproduced image of good quality free from production of crosstalk and degradation may be obtained.
