Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit uniform mixing by providing spiral separation plates touching internally with the inside of square or an even-number angular hollow tube in a fluid mixer. CONSTITUTION:The spiral separating plates 2 touching internally with the inside of the square or an even-number angular hollow tube 1 are provided in place separately. No rotation of the separating plates 2 by pressure of fluid takes place because the hollow tube is not round shape. The number of angles of the angular hollow tube 1 can be properly selected, e.g., octagonal shape, etc., according to the properties of fluid and also the separating plate 2 can be freely exchanged. Experiments showed that uniform mixing can be assured by changing the sectional area of flow of fluid to be mixed.
