Abstract

PURPOSE: To spare the sampling work by using a water sampling method, by which an automatic water sampling float is injected at a desired position of a water passage with the use of a injector and by which the water sampling float having held the sample water is recovered with the use of the flow of the water passage.
CONSTITUTION: As water sampling device, there is used an automatic water sampling float 46 which is operative to automatically sample water, when it is poured into water, and to float in the water while holding the sample. The feeder 41 of a water sampling float injector 40 is charged with the automatic water sampling float 46. A command signal is fed to an injection control device 45 so that the float 46 which is marked with the place and data by a marker 44 is injected into the water passage at a desired time interval and in a desired number. The floats 46 thus injected are allowed to flow down in the water passage until they are recovered by a downstream collecting unit 22 and are transported, as they are, to an analyzing unit. Thus, it is possible to spare the sampling work.
