Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable a manual B board to answer to an incoming call by disconnecting a line wire from an automatic switchboad, getting out of order, and then by forming a connecting line reaching the manual B board. CONSTITUTION:When the automatic switchboard with channel network NW is in normal operation, emergency switching key TL is in a closed state. If an energency situation, e.g., a disabled switching connection due to the fault of the automatic switchboard occurs, an operator operates key TL to open the contact. As a result, respective relays TLo to TLn and TLa of emergency switching unit ESo to ESn and ESa are all released by being disconnected from the earth and their contacts tlo to tln and tla return to positions shown by solid lines. When an incoming call arrives from main wire CLo in this state, the incoming call from main wire CLo is displayed on emergence B board operation table ED by main-wire trunk COTo and the operator operates the switch method to make a connection between the incoming circuit and manual B board ATT.
