Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the influence of high-degree space frequency components without increasing the number of photoelectric elements by making photoelectric elements into a specific form in the displacement detection unit of an optical image.
CONSTITUTION: Element width S in the arrangement direction of photoelectric elements P which constitute photoelectric element array 2 is made equal for every element, and one period d of space frequency components to be extracted is defined as d=4S. Photoelectric elements P are inclined for the arrangement direction of them and go in one adjacent elements. That is, in respect to photoelectric elements P, the boundary line of adjacent photoelectric elements is not parallel with the line vertical to the arrangement direction of elements and is inclined for the vertical line. The photoelectric element form inclined in this manner reduces the influence of three or more-degree space frequency components, so that the photoelectric synthesized output vector can be prevented from being affected by high-degree frequency components when an optical image is projected onto the photoelectric element array.
