Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure adjustment of the resonance frquency without causing the parasitic vibration by providing several units of the notch at the positions dividing the outer circumference into equal parts. CONSTITUTION:The notches are given to the outer circumference of disk piezoelectric ceramic oscillator 1 utilizing the spreading vibration in the diameter direction in order to give the outer circumference 2-(a), 3-(b) and 4-(c)equal parts respectively. As a result, the frequency can be reduced in the waveform free from the parastic vibration from basic waveform A and based on waveforms (a), (b) and (c) each. In case the resonance frequency is reduced excessively, the outer circumference part is polished to increase the resonance frequency again. In this method, a disk piezoelectric ceramic oscillator featuring the desired frequency can be obtained easily and with a high efficiency.
