Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare a phosphazene polymer having sufficiently high molecular weight, economically, by heating a linear phosphazene oligomer under reduced pressure.
CONSTITUTION: Phosphazene polymer having a molecular weight of ≥ 10000, is prepared easily, by heating a linear phosphazene oligomer obtained by the reaction of phosphorus pentoxide with ammonium chloride, at 100W300°C, pref. 150W280°C for about 5 hours, under vacuum of ≤ 20 mmHg, pref. ≤ 1 mmHg, esp. 10-1W 10-6 mmHg.
