CONSTITUTION:The transfer device consists of the following component units: standard guide component 11 which guides magnetic medium 1 read out and recorded magnetically along transfer path 7; 1st sloped transfer device 18 which takes in medium 1 inserted through inlet 6 via the forward turning of motor 28; parallel transfer device 56 which takes in and transfers medium 1 shifted along component 11 and via device 18 at the time of forward turning of the motor and then send back medium 1 along component 11 at the reverse turning of the motor respectively; the magnetic head which reads out medium 1 at the forward turning time of device 56 and performs recording to medium 1 at the time of reverse turning respectively; and 2nd sloped transfer device 36 which is installed in inclination toward the return direction and between devices 18 and 56 and then transfers medium 1 along component 11 via the reverse turning of the motor.
