Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a digital rotary multistylus electrode of long life for recording in high quality by making cables aligned in parallel with a plurality of conductors close contact with acute portions provided at an electrode support to allow the recording unit to make contact with recording paper under predetermined pressing pressure.
CONSTITUTION: An electrode support 7 having a plurality of radially projected acute portions 10aW10f is rotatably supported via a shaft 8 to a side plate 9. A band-like cable 11 having an insulating sheet 17 at one side, a plurality of conductors 13 arranged in parallel along the longitudinal direction at the other side, bent portions 18aW18f in number corresponding to the number of the acute portions 10aW10f, and one end connected to the input terminal 13 of an electric signal, is brought into close contact with the acute portions 10aW10f. A stationary plate 16 is further engaged among the acute portions 10aW10f fixedly with V-shaped bent portion of the conductor 12 in the respective acute portions 10aW10f as recording portions 14aW14f to thereby supply electric signals to the recording paper 1.
