Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the fan efficiency and to lower the noise, by providing rectifying plate made of foaming substance and slanting part suitably in exhaust air passage provided at the outer circumference of the fan and tongue-shaped part.
CONSTITUTION: The exhaust air passage 4 is provided sorrounding by the partition wall 2, 3 outside of fan in circumference direction and the slanting part made of polyurethane like foaming material, is provided at the tip end of tongue-shaped part of the wall 3 most approached part to the fan 1, positioning along the outer circumference of the fan 1 nearly, slowly heightening in rotating direction of the fan 1 and making nearly the same height against tongue-shaped part at the position of the tongue-shaped part. Also, the partition wall part 8, 9 made of the above foaming material, are provided in the passage 4 and volute room is formed and then, the above room is divided in plural by the rectifying plate 10 made of the foaming material. Thus, sound is scattered by the part 6 and generation of noise is prevented by the sound absorbing effect of the foaming material and at the same time, fan effect is improved.
