Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a bearing apparatus for a small motor, wherein use is made of opposite ends of a bearing to minimize axial clearance of the rotor, so that the bearing apparatus can be easily assembled and damage to bearing due to excitation can be reduced.
CONSTITUTION: One end of a bearing 4 is projected from an end blacket 2, and the bearing 4 is sandwitched between the stepped portion 9 and a V-pulley 12. Thus preciseness of the distance between the stepped portin 9 and the V-pulley 12 is easily increased when they are mounted. Also a boss 13 of the V-pulley is mounted on a shaft 7 having the same stepped portion 9, so that the desired end distance can be easily obtained and when they are arranged such that the axial force is received by the opposite ends of the bearing 4, a motor is obtained whose axial clearance is reduced and which can be easily assembled. Further the clearance can be adjusted by displacing the pulley axially using set-screw 14.
