Abstract

At this time, partially vulcanized butyl rubber is used as the base rubber of the spacer, and the Polykentack value and the compression recovery coefficient of the spacer are regulated to 50W500g and 10W80, preg. 15W40%, respectively. The partially vulcanized rubber is desired to have a partial vulcanization degree of 5W90, pref. 30W50% represented by a gelling ratio. When the compression recovery coefficient is below 10%, the spacer tends to undergo compressive deformation, and a coefficient of above 80% results in difficult spacer laying and glass assembling work.
