Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the captioned device capable of synchronizing with the production speed being incorporated in the cold forming production line of tubular materials, which simultaneously pushes in and straightens the conical bodies of corresponding sections to both end of tubular material being chucked by an automatic apparatus with plural loading and unloading devices cooperating with the transfer table device.

CONSTITUTION: A half chuck piece 5 of a tubular material chuck device 1 in parallel form is rotated in the direction of arrow by simultaneous operation of a drive system 7. As a result, a projection 10 at the end of lever 8 moves in the direction of arrow, and the foremost piece of the tubular materials 4 on the transfer table device 3 is pushed out to be inserted into the chuck part of the piece 5'. Then, the device 7 operates to chuck the materials 4, and the projection 10 is returned, and the next piece of the materials 4 slips down to be ready. The materials 4 being chucked by the pieces 5, 5' are straightened as the conical body 14 fixed on the front face of straightening head 13 which is operated by a drive system 16 of straightening head device 2 is pushed in wedge form simultaneously from both right and left end faces. After straightening, the head 13 is returned, and the straightened materials 4 are placed on the transfer table by the rotation of the piece 5' in the direction of arrow, and slip down to be discharged.
