Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to effect separate uses of an input device for setting a tare and a unit price through a sequence control by judging whether or not the measured weight upon command of tare erasure is smaller than a zero weight.
CONSTITUTION: In case a preset tare subtracting operation is accomplished, a known tare is keyed in by a ten key 2 under the no load condition having a weighing unit 1 not loaded so that the set tare is once read in a unit price register 5. After that, a push button switch T is operated so that the content of the unit register 5 having a known tare set is transferred to a tare register 9 by a comparator unit 6 and a sequence control unit 7. Then, the unit price is keyed in the ten key 2 so that it is stored in the register 5. Since the comparator unit 6 is provided in that way, there is no switch required for selecting the operating modes irrespective of the separate uses of the single ten key 2 for setting the unit price and the tare.
