Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive cable winder which can readily synchronize the automatically feeding mechanism in a preceding process machine with a winding mechanism by not fixing a cable to a winding container and winding the cable by means of the feeding force of the cable.
CONSTITUTION: A cylindrical cable container 1 is disposed vertically with respect to a base 5, and mounted via a post 5 and an internal mechanism 3. The internal mechanism 3 is integral with an inner rod 8 via a fixture 7 of the container 1 to be lightly rotatable with respect to the post 6 via bearings 9, 10. A one-way clutch 11 is assembled between the bearings 9 and 10, and fixed to a clutch fixture 12 and connected through a connecting pin 13 to a pneumatic cylinder 4. According to this configuration, a cable 2 is fed into the inside of the rotating container 1 to be wound by the longitudinal force of the cable 2 until the cable 2 buckles. When the cable 2 stops feeding, the container 1 accordingly stops rotating.
