Abstract

PURPOSE:To make possible the slurry from injection holes and the slurry in a mixing barrel evenly mixable and dispersible by inserting the rotary barrel which is provided with injection holes on the outside circumferential wall and is protruded with agitating bars radially from the outside circumferential wall into the mixing barrel which is provided with a filter screen at its bottom and filtering both slurries while agitaing the same. CONSTITUTION:The slurry 6 injected from the top end a rotary barrel A stores in the inside cavity of the rotary cylinder A. On the other hand, the slurry 7 vigorously injected from an injection path 5 into a mixing barrel B impinges upon the paddles 3 of the rotary barrel A, causing the rotary barrel A to turn. Hence, the slurry 6 in the rotary barrel is injected through the injection holes on the outside circumferential wall into the mixing barrel B by the action of centrifugal force, whereby it is mixed with the slurry 7. At the same time, the mixed slurry 8 is evenly agitated and dispersed by the agitating bars 2. Next, the mixed liquid is filtered by the filtering screen 4 in the bottom of the mixing barrel B. This method reduces the mean residerce time in the mixing barrel.
