Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform an accurate flow quantity measurement by inserting a slidable plat into a measured flow and taking out obstacles such as dust from the flow for a prescribed time for the purpose o removing them included in the flow when the vibration angle of the plate is converted to a flow quantity value and is displayed.
CONSTITUTION: Entrance part 2 and exit part 3 are provided on main body 1, and slidable plate 5 is provided in the middle between them and is slided at the center of axis 4 by the flow of water, and the vibration angle is converted electrically or mechanically to display a flow quantity value of exhaust water. Wiper 11 is forcedly rotated at every prescribed time by a reversible motor to remove obstacles such as dust accumulated in the water path. At this time, when the motor starts, plate 5 is rotated at the center of axis 4 by wiper 11, and dust, etc., which float on the water and adhere to the plate or settle are washed away by the water flow while the tip of the plate is placed above the horizontal.
