Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically and accurately return a mirror to an original angle after temporarily changing the angle of the mirror to enter an expressway or a garage or confirm the edge of a road or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a starting swich of a contrl circuit 1 is closed, a mirror driving circuit 3 is energized for an angle changing time set by a timer circuit 2 to tilt the mirror by a desired angle. The mirror 9 is then stopped for a time set by the timer circuit 2. The driving circuit 3 is thereafter energized backward to return the mirror. The number of forward revolutions of a motor is counted by a counter 5 through a detector 4 and stored in a memory circuit 7. The number of backward revolutions of the motor is counted by a counter 6, the output of which is compared with the content of the memory circuit 7 by a comparator 8. The moment the output and the content coincide with each other, all the circuits are reset.
