Abstract

PURPOSE: The polycondensation reaction of aminoacids is effected at a specific temperature in the presence of a catalyst of polyphosphoric acid anilinium salt and the product is purified in aqueous phase, thus producing inexpensively high- purity polyaminoacid through simple operations and processed.
CONSTITUTION: Neutral aminoacids of 5 or less carbon atoms are incorporated with 0.02W0.5 molar equivalent of polyphosphoric acid anilinium salt catalyst and the condensation reaction is effected at 100W180°C. Then, the product is washed with water or treated with a cationic exchange resin to produce the purified product.
