Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable extrusion of shape article having extremely narrow opening by fitting to insert a tong portion reinforced at the position apart from the tong portion.
CONSTITUTION: The port portions of a tong are added at the thinnest portions C and D thereof with thick portions E and F, respectively for guarding the thinnest portions, respectively. A recess 5 is provided at the position apart from the tong portion 4 at the port portions 3, and a recess 6 of the same shape as the recess 5 is also provided at a die 1 mounted with a back die 2 at the back. The port portions 3 are fitted to be inserted at the fitting portion 7 to the die 1. The portions C and D are thus reinforced with the portions E and F, respectively to thereby prevent themselves from deforming and damaging. Accordingly, it can extrude the shape article 8 having openings of approx. 0.3W3.0mm at extremely high tong ratio which is impossible at the conventional tong.
