Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove a noncombustible gas such as carbon dioxide gas or the like without loosing methane gas by providing a starting portion of a methane gas take- out pipe and a starting portion of a carbon dioxide withdrawing pipe to be projected in each specifically separated space within a water tank cover.
CONSTITUTION: A methane gas taking-out pipe is provided so that the starting portion thereof is projected into an upper space within a water tank cover 3 and a carbon dioxide gas withdrowing pipe is provided so that the starting portion thereof is projected into a lower space within the water tank cover 3 to construct a methane gas generating apparatus. If an org. garbage is thrown into the water tank 2 of this methane generating apparatus and allowed to stand, carbon dioxide gas and methane gas are generated and methane gas is accumulated in the upper space within the water tank cover 3 and carbon dioxide gas in the lower space. Thereby, if the methane gas taking out pipe 5 and the carbon dioxide gas withdrawing pipe 10 are individually operated. Carbon dioxide gas can be withdrawn without loosing methane gas.
