Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase processing volume of a diode feeding device, wherein polarity discrimination, alignment, characteristic selection of diode and printing of mark are conducted by performing a one-tact and multiplepitch intermittent transfer. CONSTITUTION:A two-diode simultaneous feeding device 28 is provided at the upper left end of a mount 15. A polarity discriminating device 3, a reverser 18, a measuring terminal 19, an unsatisfactory item discharge valve 20 and a printing marking-head 29 are provided sucessively. Then, for instance, by transfering a one- tact and two-pitch to an intermittent horizontal transfer device 2 using the Geneva gears 17 located in the mount, two diodes are feeded from the feeding device simultaneously and a transfer of one-tact and two-pitch is conducted successively. Thus, two diodes are processed simultaneously making only a slight design change on a one-tact and one-pitch alignment device, thereby allowing to increase the volume of processing.
