Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a vessel excellent in water and heat resistant properties and heat sealing property as well as useful for a vessel for food or the like by a method wherein the vessel is made by a sheet material of water resistant paper made of wooden pulp and olefinic series resin pulp, one surface of which is covered by a low crystallinity polyester resin.
CONSTITUTION: A laminated sheet material is obtained by extruding and coating (B) low crystallinity polyester resin (example; polyethylene terephthalate or the like) on one side of a water resistant paper made of (A) (a) 50W95wt% of wooden pulp and (b) 50W5wt% of olefinic resin pulp. This laminated sheet is employed to form a vessel such as a cup 11 or the like, for example, by a prior art. The laminated sheet 1 is formed so as to have a layer of the constituent B at inner side and the water resistant paper 2 at outer side thereof and a contacting surface 7 of a peripheral wall 5 and a bottom plate 6 as well as a joint 8 of the peripheral wall are heat-sealed. For further details, an intrinsic viscosity of the constituent B after the extruding process is preferably 85% or more of the same before processing and a crystallinity rate of the constituent B is preferably 6% or less respectively.
