Abstract
PURPOSE: To fixedly hold tiles, by thrusting the tiles on push plates when rotating a rotary box in a device for turning over the tiles by the 180° rotation of the rotary box in which an appropriate number of tiles are housed to be turned over.
CONSTITUTION: Both the ends 2, 2a of a box 1 in the longitudinal direction are made open so that tiles are conveyed in and out through the ends. The box is supported by shafts 3, 3a so that the box is rotated by 180° by a motor 5 and a transmission mechanism 6. Holes 7, 7a are provided in the surface P of the box 1. Push plates 8, 8a are provided in the holes 7, 7a so that the plates can be moved vertically. Tiles are introduced into the box 1 by a conveyor 19. When the box 1 is rotated, the push plates 8, 8a are moved down by cam plates 18, 18a to thrust the tiles. When the 180° rotation of the box is finished, the thrusting is ceased. The tiles are pushed out of the box 1 onto a transfer belt 20 by succeeding tiles.
